Web design

the website

Together with the Gagarin team, I designed and illustrated a website that tells the story of the settlement longhouse, its architectural intricacies, and the people who lived in it and their culture.

A main part of the website is composed of layered drawings that visually explain the building technique and the interior design while giving a glimpse into the people's daily lives.

the archeological site

The Hofsstaðir Archaeological Site is marked with signs that help explain the remains of the longhouse, and what activities took place in each area. I had the pleasure to illustrate these scenes, to further explain visually how life was many centuries ago.

The physical exhibition and the website together sum up to over 100 illustrations that bring this project to life.
