Branding
When designing this brand identity, the main goal was to create a design that was accessible, clear, inviting and trustworthy, while also being versatile enough to also be playful, and not overly corporate, in order to appeal to both educators and the diverse adult audiences they work with.
The color palette is vibrant yet contrasted, offering many possibilities, while the typography has been selected to ensure readability and accessibility across multiple languages. For the logo, stemming from the silhouette of an open book, I went for simple, approachable shapes that symbolize connection, growth, and inclusivity. The gradients were chosen to reflect the diversity of voices on the platform, representing the spectrum of experiences and backgrounds shared through storytelling.
The identity covers everything from social media and billboards to merchandise and a full brand style guide. Every element was designed to make the platform feel welcoming and supportive, while addressing serious topics like social integration, empowerment, and personal growth, without feeling too corporate, cold, or off-putting.
Now, the Story Sharing project feels like a meaningful space, open to everyone, while also keeping the focus on the stories that matter most.
