The Astrid Climate Change educational suite aims to empower young people to engage in informed discussions, seek effective solutions, enable them to come up with effective measures, and guide them to change their habits by taking climate change into consideration in their daily lives and decision making.
Astrid’s products range from virtual reality role playing experiences, to augmented reality textbooks, to card games, immersive videos, interactive educational content, and more.
Developing a visual language for Astrid posed an interesting challenge, one that needed steering clear of clichés associated with climate change. The aim was to cultivate a brand identity that would not only be distinctive but also resonate with our target demographic of young individuals aged 14-17. Astrid embodies simplicity and directness, with a hint of provocation and playfulness. This approach brings a refreshing perspective to a landscape saturated with greenwashing and brands that fail to authentically engage with Gen Z.
One of the main focuses was on making Astrid’s social media an attractive place for both our audience and our partners, who belong to completely different backgrounds and demographics.
The new visual identity manages to achieve a balance between being grounded, honest, reliable and caring, but also empathic, empowering, playful, creative and impactful.
