Alkemia

This concept rebrand of Alkemia Perfumes aims to strengthen its visual identity within the niche perfume market. The focus is on creating a consistent and scalable look across packaging, website, and social media. 

One of the main goals within this project is to improve the online shopping experience, making it easier for customers to find and buy products. Keeping the brand’s core pillars of Science, Passion, and Magic in mind, the aim is to elevate Alkemia Perfumes to new heights while staying true to its roots.

logomark

This logomark is a visual embodiment of Alkemia’s essence. It integrates elements inspired by balance, creation, art, science, alchemy, and perfumery. 

Sleek, symmetrical and elegant, the logomark complements the logotype, as it incorporates shapes directly derived from the typeface used to create the logotype. The triangles are drawn from the 'A' in Alkemia, creating a direct connection to the brand's name. 

The triangular shapes are not only a nod to several alchemy symbols, but also to Magic, Science, and Passion —the three core pillars that constitute the essence of the brand. This geometric symbol emphasizes the trinity driving Alkemia's creative process.

The angular, sharp and edgy look aligns with the Gothic-modern aesthetic we are looking to accentuate across the brand's identity to better appeal to the audience.

Color

The color palette draws inspiration directly from natural elements and metals, creating a connection to the world of alchemy.  Predominantly neutral, the shades bring together the goth-inspired aesthetic, with a timeless and enigmatic feel.

A  touch of gold is strategically incorporated as a highlight, and is a deliberate nod to alchemy symbolism, where gold is  considered the ultimate goal of the transformative process.

The images are presented  in a modern and sleek layout, always following a grid system to keep the clean and modern look and to ensure better readability and accessibility.

This layout and the style of the images create a perfect balance between the scientific and contemporary aspect of the brand, and the gothic and omnyric aesthetic. This harmony in compositive elements makes the website, which is the primary sales portal, significantly more user-friendly and less overwhelming.
