Yrkja

Yrkja, based in Svarfaðardal, north Iceland is a family-run organic farm that grows local organic vegetables and berries. 

For this project, Diego Arnanz and I collaborated to design a brand identity and applications for Yrkja. We drew inspiration directly from the Icelandic landscape and its colors, to reinforce the idea of a fresh and organic produce. Across the creation of this brand, we aimed to emphasize Yrkja's commitment to freshness, sustainability, and Icelandic authenticity.

Central to our approach was the need for scalability and versatility. We understood the importance of creating a brand identity that could adapt across various touchpoints, from packaging to digital platforms, adapting a traditional family business to today’s world.

By using a mix of clean, modern typography and dynamic and organic display font, product photography, and crisp and inviting colors, we crafted a cohesive visual language that can extend across diverse applications while maintaining its character.
