Morgana Sanderson

For this project, I designed and illustrated a custom packaging for Morgana Sanderson, a Spanish handmade jewelry company that bases its values and aesthetics on witchery and the power of female magic. With women as a source of inspiration and magic as an element of strength, they create handmade pieces with a message and spirit.

For this project, we drew inspiration from vintage matchboxes featuring animals and patterns.

I started by offering the client four different sketches to choose from. The client went for a mix of two of the presented designs. I then created for them a fifth custom design based on their preferences, and presented it in different color ways, so that they could choose the one that was closer to their vision for this project.

Once the colors and the layout were chosen, I proceeded to the final illustration and design, making it ready for print and distribution.
